Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to all my family and friends. Let us celebrate this special day with an ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE. Let us appreciate God for His grace bestowed upon us. 2 Corinthians 9:15 refers to this grace as the indescribable gift. How could we have benefited from this great grace if not for love? There was no way we could have made it to God by our strength. We were so far away from God that we needed God Himself to bring us to Him. Thankfully, God made a way through His son Jesus. We have been saved by grace and grace alone.
One gospel minstrel put it this way… GRACE, GRACE GOD’S GRACE GRACE THAT WILL PARDON AND CLEANSE WITHIN GRACE, GRACE GOD’S GRACE GRACE THAT IS GREATER THAN ALL OUR SINS
Yes! God’s grace is greater than all our iniquities. He has been so merciful unto us. What are you thankful for? I am thankful for life and all the blessings that come with it. God has been good to us. No matter the challenges we face, we can look back and appreciate God for the different ways He has been good to us. Let us eat our Thanksgiving meal with gratitude in our hearts. God has been good.
Let us also take time and appreciate all the human vessels God has worked through to bless us. Call someone, say a prayer for them. Bless God for their lives. Finally, if there is someone you can bless today (spiritually, financially, with food, clothes etc.) do not hold back. You have received enough…be a blessing unto another. God bless you and have a blessed day.
My prayer for you today
Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God (2 Corinthians 9:10-11).
