Trusting against all odds

Have you ever experienced a situation that seems to have no fix? Have you ever felt like waiting for God to come through for you seems like a journey without an end? There are several instances in the Bible where it felt God was silent but in fact, He was working in the background. Abraham and Sarah were far advanced in age and their biological clocks were tickling when Isaac was born. Elijah felt he was the only one serving God but there were 7000 others who served God (1 Kings 19:18).  Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5‭-‬6 NKJV) There are times that the only thing we can do is to trust God against all odds. The odds of age, good health, money, logistics, meeting the right people, getting the right job etc. can be overwhelming. However, we should hold on to the word of God and have faith that God is able to do exceeding for us. What do you do when your understanding fails to grasp the situation? The author of Proverbs states in chapter 3:5-6 (NKJV) to do this: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”  When your heart is overwhelmed by worries and fears, know that there is someone who desires to meet all your needs. When everything else fails, know that God never fails. Keep trusting in Him and in due time, if we do not give up, we shall be promoted. Let all your ways be made known to Him. He sees everything but He wants us to commit our ways to Him. He desires that we invite Him into our lives. He shall direct the paths of those who trust Him.
